My computer has something wrong but I am not sure what to do or how much it will cost?

At Hinterland IT we will generally can assess your PC within a short time. We do not charge you for diagnosis and will only spend up to an approved amount by you if repairs are needed.

We work on multiple jobs at one time so we are not standing in front of your PC all the time so our hourly charges are kept to a minimum. We will always consult with you regarding the required repair if needed before we do any work.

I haven't backed up my data and my PC has stopped working, HELP!

Hinterland IT realises the importance of your files and that these are often more valuable than the PC itself. If you computer fails most of the time your data is still retrievable, so don't panic, we have dedicated hardware and software specifically for recovering and storing your data. Even data that has been deleted can often be recovered. Before we undertake any major work on your PC we will ensure that all your documents, emails, favourites, address book etc. are all backed up safely.

What do I get for $799.95 for a complete website? It seems too good to be true.

It is true, you get all you need to put your business on the web. Firstly you get your own global domain name such as www.yourbusiness.com for twelve months, secondly, your site is hosted on a reliable and tested server for a period of twelve months and finally you get eight hours of professional web development. For most small businesses this is more than enough to get up and running on the web, for instance many of our sites are completed in eight hours. We use some of the latest software, utilise effective development tools, have a background in good marketing techniques and our hourly rate is among the cheapest available which enables us to provide these services to you.

What if I need future updates? They are usually expensive.

Obviously you may need more content in the future and ongoing updates and your hours may exceed the eight hours provided, but with our design techniques we can usually create a whole new page of information in matter of minutes. Combine this with our low hourly rate of $110.00 and you can see that updates and additional information does not have to be a daunting experience.

Why are your services so inexpensive? What's the catch?

There is no catch, our hourly rates are low because we don't charge big city prices, we work from an upstairs office not a retail premises so our overheads are low and we are always on the lookout for the most effective tools and techniques available. As far as our products go, we are a reseller of domain name and hosting products and are always on the lookout for great deals on reliable products while always negotiating with providers.

What are your trading terms?

We operate on a 7 day payment schedule. That is, payment for all work invoiced is required within 7 days unless prior arrangement is made. Late payments may incur a processing charge of $22.00 or 2% whichever is greater for every month payment is outstanding with a one month minimum. The charging of any late processing fees is at the discretion of Hinterland IT.
